How could someone forget their anger, sadness, frustration in a split second? And then I got it.
You can.
We have a tendency to mull over life’s miseries and failures. We allow ourselves to wallow in pain and hatred. Our happiness, successes take second place and then become fleeting experiences.
It’s like someone who makes a lousy-tasting chicken soup, beats herself up over it and gripes about it an entire day…while it only takes that one split second for someone else to think of it as a lesson to make better soup next time.
